TENERIFE

The Canary Islands constitute some of the most beautiful, varied and exotic scenery in Spain. Due to their location, one could say that the Canary Islands are a unique tropical paradise in Europe.

The exceptional climate has earned the Islands the title of ‘The Fortunate Islands’ as climate is temperate throughout the year.

Of the seven Islands in the archipelago, TENERIFE is the one which offers the greatest variety of contrast. Tenerife is the largest of the islands and it also boasts the highest peak. The majestic snow peaked Teide which is a constant reference point to be viewed from all sides, towers magnificently some 3.000 m. above the amazing craters and volcanic landscape of Las Cañadas National Park.

The variations in altitude provide a varied scenery and wonderful sensation of being able to swim in the warm ocean while contemplating, in the distance the snow capped mountain-top of the Teide volcano.

Sun, Sand and Lava … the contrasts of Tenerife.

Sheer cliffs and sandy beaches, little villages that remind one of the past and modern installations ready to receive the visitors from abroad.

History and tradition are preserved in an island which nevertheless moves with the times. The traveller steps into a world completely apart from anything ever experienced before, a combination of natural magic and human endeavour.
